William Roy Dawes joined the Rose staff in 2002. He co-curated the acclaimed 2009 exhibition "The Rose Art Museum at Brandeis: Works from the Collection" and curated "Numbers, Color and Text." Previously, he was the Gallery Manager at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston. As an artist, Roy has exhibited his work throughout New England, including the DeCordova Museum, Whitney Art Works, and the Howard Yezerski Gallery. He has degrees in fine arts from Mass College of Art and University of Massachusetts (Dartmouth). His work is held in many private and corporate collections and can be seen at www.roydawes.com.
