Artist Statement "An award-winning, internationally exhibiting artist whose watercolors and oil paintings, resonant with color, reveal her keen sense of observation, evoke a mood and a sense of place. Sally Caswell is listed in "Who's Who in American Art". She is a Copley Artist of the Copley Society of Art, Boston, MA, a Signature Artist and Life Member of The Rhode Island Watercolor Society, a juried artist member of 19 on Paper and formerly of Providence Art Club . Selected as an Artist Member of the Copley Society of Boston in 1993, Sally Caswell was awarded the distinction of Copley Artist in January of 1998. Founded in 1879, the Copley Society is the oldest non-profit art association in the United States, and has a history of exhibiting celebrated artists, including John Singer Sargent, Winslow Homer and James Whistler. Artist members are selected by a competitive review and exhibit at the Copley Society Galleries on Newbury Street."
