"When I had made this, I had gleaned much information from my investigation into High Gothic style of architecture and became more focused on the idea of height and the transforming effect of light as aesthetic devices; Some said it had taken on the form of a sarcophagus" - George Perez JR. Tall structure made of mahogany, outside painted white and doors bare. Just as Perez stated in his description of the piece, it closely resembles a sarcophagus type structure. Furthermore, when the doors are opened one can see how light passes through the slats of this structure.
