In India, Tulsi, or Holy Basil is known as a sacred plant and is considered “The Queen of Herbs.” (Organic India, 2018) Possessing the spiritual properties of natural detoxification, and restoring balance and harmony, it is most certainly found in every Indian household as an offering to worship God. In my site installation, the Potted Basil has the same purpose of rejuvenation.
