An exhibition of artisanry featuring works of wood, ceramics, metals, and fibers. This exhibition includes an array of media, from traditional to contemporary, with everything from painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, scultpure and jewelry to video, interactive work, and even a fake identity project being represented. An exciting variety of materials include textile, lace, felt, and clay, carved bones, real strawberries, yarn made stiff by glue, and interactive digital books are used to express not only artistic concerns, but issues of identity, fragility, balance, and futility in ways that are serious, questioning, and at times, playful.
