Emerging Young Artists 2018 Juried Exhibition Exhibition Dates: January 22 – February 10, 2018 The College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) has the pleasure to present the Emerging Young Artists 2018 Juried Exhibition at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. The College of Visual and Performing Arts is thrilled to host this highly competitive annual high school juried exhibition and recognize the exceptional merit of art students from thirty-five high school art programs in New England. The Emerging Young Artists 2018 Juried Exhibition had a record of over 800 submitted artworks by 493 young artists, from which the juror, CVPA’s Dean David Klamen, selected 67 works to be in the exhibition. The EYA 2018 exhibiting schools are: Abington High School, Attleboro High School, Auburn High School, Beaver Country Day School, Belmont High School, Berkshire Arts & Technology Charter Public School, Bishop Connolly High School, Bourne High School, Brockton High School, Burlington High School, CATS Academy Boston, Dartmouth High School, Fairhaven High School, Foxborough Regional Charter School, Framingham High School, Glastonbury High School, Greater New Bedford Vocational-Technical High School, Hopkinton High School, Leominster High School, Manchester Essex Regional High School, Marshfield High School, Medfield Senior High School, New Bedford High School, Northampton High School, Norwich Free Academy, Oakmont Regional High School, Old Rochester Regional High School, Pembroke High School, Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School, RHAM High School, Roxbury Latin School, Sparhawk High School, Wakefield High School, Westborough High School and Winchester High School. The result is a marvelous exhibition that showcases the talents of New England’s young artists.
