C.R. "Chuck" Boucher is a New England artist and writer creating vivid paintings and novels for over thirty years, from his studio at the head of Mount Hope Bay in Somerset Massachusetts, where he lives with his wife and an ever-changing family of rescued cats. He is a decorated Veteran of the U.S Coast Guard and a graduate of Bristol Community College (AFA), in Fall River Massachusetts, and Swain School of Design (BFA), in New Bedford Massachusetts. He has exhibited his work in over 35 exhibits since his first solo show in 1985. Chuck's work has also been shown at the New Bedford Art Museum as well as in such respected galleries as Crowell's Fine Art in New Bedford, MA, DeBloise Gallery in Newport, RI, Cherry and Web Gallery at UMass Dartmouth, Grimshaw-Gudewicz Gallery at Bristol Community College, The Gallery of Visual Art at UMass Dartmouth, Isherwood Gallery in Newport, RI, Imago Gallery in Warren, RI, and the Greater Fall River Art Association.
