Artist Bio:Robin Wiseman is an artist and professor of art at RISD and Massachusetts College of Art and Design. He also teaches at the high school, college and adult levels. Wiseman has his studio in Providence, RI. He holds degrees from Rhode Island School of Design BFA 1969 and Architecture 1970, Southeastern Massachusetts (now UMass-Dartmouth) MFA 1985. Exhibitions include numerous shows in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Italy, Brazil including a show of four figurative artists at the RISD Museum that ran in parallel to an exhibition of Thomas Eakins “The Swimming Hole”. Publications The Newport Review Awards European Honors Program-RISD, AIA award (for excellence in the study of architecture), Teaching Award RISD-C.E. (twice)
