Born in 1949 in Renton, Washington, 2014 American Craft Council Fellow, John Gill is a ceramic artist and educator. Receiving his BFA in 1973 from the Kansas City Art Institute, Gill immediately went on for his MFA, graduating from the New York State College of ceramics at Alfred University in 1975. Gill lives and works in Alfred, New York. Visit our digital collections database to view images of and documents about John Gill and his work.
