BANGOR - Todd Mitchell Dunphy, 50, passed away peacefully Feb. 4, 2014, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Nov. 27, 1963, in Manchester, Conn., a son of Wayne and Geraldine ( Fish ) Dunphy. Todd graduated from Maine Central Institute in Pittsfield, Class of 1982, and from the Swain School of Design in New Bedford, MA, with a Bachelor's Degree in graphic design. He returned to Maine where he was employed as the manager at Miller's Restaurant in Bangor until illness forced him to get done. Todd also worked at a convenience store in Bangor until his illness. Todd's home was in Bangor with two very special friends, Jeremy Qualey and Dean Easler, and their dog, Turbo. He loved their home and families. Thanksgiving was his favorite holiday. He planned and cooked the meal for his two families. He loved his beautiful garden he enjoyed so much last summer. In addition to gardening, Todd loved cooking, family and friends. He loved all of his friends very much. Todd was considered a caring and compassionate young man by all who knew him. He fought right to the end of his illness. He is survived by his parents of Corinna; a devoted sister, Cindy and husband, Rob Perkins of Plymouth; a loving niece, Olivia Haynes and her companion, Travis Porter of West Gardiner; and the apple of his eye, a grandnephew, Dustin; as well as two special nephews, Tyler and Camden Perkins; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Todd wished to be cremated. In the spring, when his flowers begin to bloom, he will be buried in Corinna Village Cemetery at a time to be announced. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Chapel, Corinna.
